first time grower (indoor white widow seeds)

ok, so i've never grown before and i thought i should get some advice from the best :L
i've germinated the seeds (all 12 of them) and i've planted 2 of the seeds in small tin cans, i dont know anything about the soil that it's in, it is getting natural light only and is watered once a day...

any tips or advice is much appreciated

i now have one lovely little plant from one of the seeds i have planted, 2 round smooth leaves and 2 jagged leaves

okay now i know that i have to keep the soil Ph between 7.0 and 6.5 and i need to use some plant feed, probably tomato plant feed or miracle gro... otherwise i could fuck up the sex of the plant D:
i should probably use peat moss for soil and i need to find somewhere else to keep the plant >.<
this isn't as easy as i thought it was :/
